Reading Habits Tag

I haven't updated this in waaaay too long, and I couldn't think of anything to write, so today we are going to learn about Laura's reading habits.

1.Do you have a certain place at home for reading? Not necessarily. I usually read on one of my couches(yes, I have multiple couches), and occasionaly on my bed, but I don't have, like one designated spot.

2.Bookmark or random piece of paper? Normally a random piece of paper because I will most likely not have a bookmark on me. I do not have very many bookmarks, primarily because I BEND THE PAGES TO TELL WHERE I LEFT OFF. I know its a deadly sin, go ahead and burn me at the stake.

3.Can you stop reading anytime you want or do you have to stop at a certain page, chapter, etc.? It depends. If i'm into the book(which is most of the time), I'll probably end up reading the whole chapter even if I meant to just finish the one before it, but if i'm not so into it, I just put it down(and probably never pick it back up again).

4. Do you eat or drink while reading? Not normally. I'm too afraid I will ruin my book.

5.Can you read while listening to music/watching T.V.? Normally, if there's music, I'll be fine, but if it's TV, I'll probably put my book down to watch it.Because, you know, it's TV.

6. One book at a time, or several at once? Oh, definitely several at once. A few weeks ago, I emptied out my backpack. There were thirteen books in there(I'm not kidding), ten of which I was currently reading. Maybe that's just me, but I think I'm a several books at once type of person.

7. Reading at home or everywhere? Everywhere. I will carry a book with me even if i KNOW I won't be able to read it. It's like a little kid with their favorite teddy bear, except I'm not little and the books I carry around are usually six to seven hundred pages long, so I just look weird. Whatever.

8. Reading out loud or silently in your head? In my head. In fact, one of my biggest pet peeves is people reading out loud.

9. Do you read ahead or skip pages? Read ahead. Usually if I get bored of the plot I read ahead to see what happens next, and then come across a huge spoiler, so now I know who dies, or betrays the main character, or whatever, but I HAVE to keep reading because, well, just because.

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it new? Keeping it new. I try to keep my books in pristine condition, but usually by their second day(or third, if their lucky), any books i own will have pen marks, or their cover will be ripped, or something bad will have happened to them. But I try. I really do.

11.Do you write in books? Yes, yes I do. In one certain book that I will not mention the title of, my favorite character died, and I wasn't having any of it, so I crossed basically the whole page out. I just couldn't bear it.
