My Favorite Standalone Books

We all love books that come in a series, but sometimes one without a second or third(or maybe even fourth) book can be fun too. Let's get started!
1.The Fault In Our Stars. This book by John Green is one of my favorites. Yeah, it's a little sad, but it's still an awesome read.
2.The Book Thief. I don't normally read historic fiction, but when I saw it at a bookstore, I decided to pick it up. I had seen the movie a few years before, but I didn't expect the book to be THAT good. I was definitely surprised.
3.The Giver. As I've mentioned in previos posts, this is what got me started on sci-fi and just YA in general. I know it's part of a series, but I still consider it a standalone book.
4.Eleanor and Park. This was on my TBR this month, and I absolutely LOVED it. I'd heard it was great, but it was romance, which i'm not that into, but it was an awesome book.
5.Smart Girls Get What They Want. This isn't a very hyped book, but it's pretty good. It also has strong female leads, which I love.
I haven't read that many standalones, but even if I had, I have a feeling these my still be high on this list.
